Necklaces
Necklaces are a type of body jewelry designed to be worn
around the neck. They commonly make use of metal chains. However, many
other materials may be chosen for their strands, such as cloth and even
plant material.
Lockets and pendants are commonly attached to necklaces. Of course,
there are many other attachment options as well. These have historically
included rocks, wood, and shells. Today, practically anything small
enough can be added.
Necklaces come in many different lengths. These include choker, princess,
opera, and rope. Different styles will call for different lengths. It
is also good to learn the illusions which different lengths promote.
For instance, a choker necklace may not be the best choice for someone
insecure about their body size and it would emphasize largeness.
