Bangles

Bangles are a type of jewelry to be worn on the wrist. They are generally circular in shape. In fact, they are traditionally circular in shape. However, many other shapes have also become available.

Unlike bracelets, bangles are not flexible. They are made of both precious and non-precious materials. Examples include such things as wood, glass, silver, gold, plastic.

Bangles are a traditional jewelry with Pakistan and India. This is especially true for Hindus. They are worn after marriage and hence a symbol of matrimony. Generally, they are worn in pairs with one or more on each arm.
